My grandfather has a super clean 2003 Tahoe with barn doors. He got it for $8,000 of because it was a 2WD in Ohio and nobody wanted it.

Nice! I got my ‘06 Sierra crew cab brand new for under $22k out the door. It’s also 2wd, in Illinois, so nobody wanted that or the 4.8 in it. It’s been a fantastic vehicle, and I’m not getting rid of it anytime soon.

Wow, really good deal considering the price of trucks now. My grandfather has teased about giving me the Tahoe, but I can’t trust it.

In a weird way the deal I got has kind of ruined me for new trucks. The closest comparable truck stickers for nearly $40k now. I just can’t wrap my head around paying that kind of money for a truck.

Why can’t you trust it? There are a few weak spots, but GMT-800's are damn reliable.
